Your Men's Club Roller Hockey Team faced off against Penn State Nittany Lions in a tournament game at the Grove City YMCA Roller Rink. After going 1-1 in their previous two contests, the Colonials hoped to jump to a winning record after this one. 

Nothing too crazy happened in the first period, with each team battling it out defensively and not offering each other many good scoring opportunities. Jarrett Tomazich made a few saves, but none were too troubling for the RMU goalkeeper. The first period would close with the score remaining at 0-0. 

The second period got started, and the Colonials kept applying the pressure. It finally paid off when Jeremiah Brosovic buried a shot through the Penn State goalie's five hole after a nice give-and-go play. With just minutes gone in the second period, RMU now held a 1-0 lead and would look to build upon it. Jeremiah Brosovic and Roman Kraemer would find themselves with several more scoring opportunities in the second, but the Penn State goalie was doing very well to keep them from finding the back of the net. The Nittany Lions had a few scoring chances, but overall RMU seemed to be dominating the puck and were well in control of this game. The second period would close with the Colonials maintaining a 1-0 lead.

RMU was finally able to convert a few of their chances in the third period. Roman Kraemer scored a tap-in goal very early on, which would mark his third goal of the tournament. With a 2-0 lead now, RMU were less than a period away from capturing a win. Just seconds later, Roman Kraemer was able to set up Jeremiah Brosovic for his second goal of the game. The duo was firing on all cylinders now, and the Colonials jumped to a 3-0 lead with not even a minute gone in the third period. After a few more decent chances from both sides, Penn State was finally able to get on the board after a nice shot that slipped by Jarrett Tomazich. RMU still held a 3-1 lead with six minutes left to play. The Colonials were able to hold off the Nittany Lions for the rest of this game, and would earn a 3-1 victory.
