RMU Club Hockey Annual Charity Night Game

ACHA Men's D1 Hockey Charity Game, Benefiting RMHC Pittsburgh and Morgantown

The Robert Morris ACHA Men's D1 Club Ice Hockey Team is once again using their love for the sport to help families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown.

On Friday, November 10th at 8 p.m., the team will host its Annual Charity Night, benefiting RMHC Pittsburgh and Morgantown. The game includes a ceremonial puck drop with Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeni Malkin. Also in attendance will be Penguins' players Kris Letang, Pierre-Olivier Joseph, former Pittsburgh Penguin Phil Borque and Iceburgh.

For the second consecutive season, the team has chosen RMHC Pittsburgh and Morgantown as its beneficiary. Last season, the hockey team raised $10,000 from the event, providing 100 nights of stay for families traveling for their child's medical care.

"We are thrilled to be chosen once again as the beneficiary of this special game," said Eleanor Reigel, Chief Executive Officer Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown, Inc. "This event is an incredible example of taking something that you love to do and turning it into a way to help others in need."

"RMU is so excited to host this annual charity game. Through this event, we hope to contribute to the invaluable work of RMHC and create an unforgettable experience for everyone who comes to the Island Sports Center on November 10," John Locke, Chief Experience Officer.

The event will also include special raffles, an exclusive one-of-a-kind jersey auction, a chuck-a-puck, and more.

Hosted at the RMU Island Sports Center, tickets will be available at the door, $7 for adults $3 for 12 and under. RMU students are free and donations will be taken at the door.

Tickets will only be available at the door
