Moon, PA- The Women's Club soccer team came out with a strong start in their season opener, but could not maintain it as they fall 2-1 to Slippery Rock. Emma Burrows scored a goal in the 4th minute to push the Colonials to an early 1-0 lead. However, Slippery Rock got back to back goals late in the first half to take the 2-1 advantage. Despite some chances late, RMU could not get anything else to go and will start the season with a tough loss. 

The Women's Club Soccer team's next game is September 21st at home against rival Duquesne University.
