The women's club soccer team was highly competitive in 2019-2020 dropping 5 games by an average of two goals, a figure that was skewed slightly by a 5-0 loss to Carnegie Mellon University on September 29th, where the team was missing their starting goaltender due to injury. The team graduates some strong leaders including three student coaches and its long time president Miranda VanKirk, but there is optimism for the upcoming campaign. The women's club team will return a strong group of underclassman and will be led by a new team president in Madeline Hansmann.

Although we did not have a good, winning season on paper, we have definitely made improvement since last season. All of our games were very close, excluding the game vs Carnegie Mellon where our starting goalie was injured. Overall, the team's top highlights had to be at the double header vs Pitt and then vs Gannon. We fought very hard and gave Pitt a really close game, and then we came back 15 minutes later to beat Gannon. We also had a very exciting game against WVU this season, where the game was tied 0-0 until the last 5 minutes of regulation. We believe that since this team is young and has a lot of heart and desire to succeed, they will continue to improve in each year to come.
