The Robert Morris University Men's Club Basketball program, led by longtime NBA and NCAA Division I coach Daryn Freedman, is excited to offer three basketball events this summer for players of all ages and skill levels.

The program will host a Back-to-School Basketball Camp for boys and girls entering grades 1–7, along with two Recruiting Showcase & Elite Camps for boys entering grades 9–12, postgraduates, prep school athletes, JUCO players, and current college transfers.

All camps will be held in the Student Recreation Center on the Robert Morris University campus.

Dates: Monday, August 17 – Thursday, August 20

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. daily
Location: RMU Student Recreation Center Gym
Cost: $199 per camper

Designed for boys and girls entering grades 1–7 this fall, the Back-to-School Basketball Camp focuses on developing fundamental basketball skills in a fun and competitive environment. Campers will participate in skill development stations, games, and competitions led by Coach Freedman, the RMU Men's Club Basketball coaching staff, current players, and guest coaches.

• 10:00–10:15 a.m. – Check-in and warm-up

• 10:15–11:00 a.m. – Skill development stations
• 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. – Morning games and competitions
• 12:00–12:30 p.m. – Lunch break and coaches' breakdown
• 12:30–2:00 p.m. – Afternoon games and competitions

Each camper will receive an RMU Basketball T-shirt.
 

Recruiting Showcase & Elite Camp #1

Date: Saturday, July 25

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: RMU Student Recreation Center Gym
Cost: $99 per participant

Open to boys entering grades 9–12, as well as postgraduates, prep school athletes, JUCO players, and current college transfers, this showcase provides an opportunity to experience college-level instruction while competing in front of the RMU coaching staff.

Participants will receive advanced skill instruction from Coach Freedman, his coaching staff, and current RMU players before competing in live games and competitions.

• 10:00–10:30 a.m. – Check-in and warm-up

• 10:30–11:00 a.m. – College-level skill development
• 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. – Games and competitions
• 1:00 p.m. – Meet with coaches and optional campus tours

The second Recruiting Showcase & Elite Camp offers another opportunity for high school and post-high school athletes to demonstrate their abilities while receiving college-level instruction from the RMU Men's Club Basketball coaching staff.

• 1:00–1:30 p.m. – Check-in and warm-up

• 1:30–2:00 p.m. – College-level skill development
• 2:00–4:00 p.m. – Games and competitions
• 4:00 p.m. – Meet with coaches and optional campus tours

Each participant will receive an RMU Basketball T-shirt.
 

Space is limited for all three events. Players and families are encouraged to register early to reserve their spot.
