Colonials Dominate Youngstown State Behind Sales’ 36-Point Performance

The Robert Morris Colonials men's club basketball delivered a strong performance against Youngstown State Penguins men's club basketball, securing an 82-63 victory on Feb. 28 at the RMU Campus Recreation Center.

Robert Morris established control early in the game, building a strong offensive line in the first half. The Colonials led 43-35 heading into halftime after consistently finding scoring opportunities and limiting Youngstown State's defensive pressure. In the second half, Robert Morris continued to extend its lead with efficient shooting and strong ball movement. The Colonials outpaced Youngstown State throughout the final 20 minutes, ultimately finishing the game with a decisive 82-63 win.

Leading the way for Robert Morris was guard #5 Isaiah Sales, who delivered an outstanding offensive performance. Sales led all scorers with 36 points, helping fuel the Colonials' momentum and maintain control of the game. Following the win, Sales emphasized the team's mindset on the court.

"We want to be as confident as we can cause that's our game, and it worked today," Sales said.

Robert Morris managed the game effectively down the stretch, finishing with five timeouts remaining and four team fouls, while Youngstown State concluded the game with four timeouts and five fouls. With the victory, the Colonials continue to build momentum as they move forward in NCBAA play.
