RMU Club Hockey is excited to welcome Maggie Moore from Mahomet-Seymour High School as the newest member of the ACHA Women's Division II Ice Hockey team.
The RMU Women's Club Hockey team recently signed their newest recruit as Mahomet, IL resident, Maggie Moore, pledged her commitment to the Colonials. Moore was on campus earlier this week attending the Day One admissions event for incoming freshmen where she was able to meet up with General Manager of RMU Club Hockey, Mike Joseph to officially sign her letter of intent. Although Coach Napoli was out of town, he called in to congratulate Maggie on this special moment!
The Colonials' staff is very excited to get Moore on campus this August and get to work. Looking at her resume, it is clear Head Coach Jim Napoli and the rest of the team are adding another reliable player to the roster. Maggie joins RMU from the IYHA Jr. Fuel U19 team and has played hockey for over 7 years, which included experience with the CIGHA Revolution and Champaign Chiefs organizations.
In addition to ice hockey, Maggie enjoys time with her family, Bible study with friends, lifting, cooking, and baking! It is clear why Moore was heavily sought after by the Colonials, and the club is excited to see her take her talents to the collegiate level.
Moore will join the RMU Women's D2 Club Hockey Team in the fall as a student in the RMU Honors Program, and majoring in Pre-Medicine. The entire Club Sports Department is excited to have her join the University!
