Dominant Streak for Men's Club Soccer Team

RMU Men's Club Soccer Team With Three Consecutive Wins

Men's Club Soccer on a Dominant Streak With a Record of 4-1

In an outstanding display of skill and determination, the RMU Men's Club Soccer Team has been on a winning streak, securing three consecutive victories against some tough opponents.

After coming off of a tough loss at home against WVU, the Colonials faced off against CCAC and emerged victorious with a convincing 3-0 win. Brendan Strawser started off the scoring with a well-executed goal, assisted by Bryan Kaminski. The team's second goal came courtesy of Miller Masson, who scored unassisted and Colin Gorini added the final goal for the Colonials assisted by club president Bryce Kirk. Goalkeeper Jake Hall also ensured a clean sheet for his team.

The homecoming game under the lights against Duquesne proved to be another victorious night for the team. Despite a scoreless first half, they displayed resilience and determination. Nick Catanzaro broke the silence with a goal assisted by David Molisee. The team continued to shine with Colin Gorini heading in a corner provided by Brendan Strawser, and Jake Hall's performance between the posts secured yet another clean sheet for the team.

The week concluded with a thrilling 3-2 win over Slippery Rock. Nick Catanzaro wasted no time, scoring just two minutes into the game, thanks to an assist from Miller Masson. However, the team faced competition as Slippery Rock added two quick goals in the next 10 minutes. Miller Masson then answered back with a goal of his own, assisted by Nick Catanzaro. The first half ended with a 2-2 tie, setting the stage for an intense second half. Nick Catanzaro stepped up once more, scoring the game-winning goal unassisted.

Bryce Kirk expressed immense pride in the players as he explained "I'm super proud of our boys for what we accomplished this past week. Having 3 games in 8 days with a few injuries and homecoming in between and coming out 3-0 is something for us to be proud of. These next two games are super important and I think we are in a good place to keep our success rolling. Shout out to the guys in the back for only allowing 2 goals in 3 games,, and the guys up front for finishing enough chances. I am super excited to see what we can do in these next two weeks."
