The RMU Men's Soccer Team concluded their regular season this past Sunday October 8th with a big win over IUP. This win was extra special as the team recognized their 9 graduating seniors during a pre-game ceremony. 

Senior Ray Thomas scored the first goal of the game on an assist from Bryce Kirk. Another senior Miller Mason added the second goal for the Colonials, leading the team in goals for the season. Thomas again went on to score the third goal for the Colonials, his fourth of the season. With exceptional offensive pressure in the first half from the seniors in particular, RMU went into the second half with a 3-0 lead over IUP.  

Unfortunately, an uncredited goal off the hands of RMU goalkeeper Jake Hall put the score at 3-1 giving IUP a point. Senior Colin Gorini answered back with a beautiful header assisted and placed perfectly by fellow Senior Nolan Croushore putting the Colonials up 4-1. Defenseman and senior Austin Martin added the final goal for RMU coming from the back field to place a perfect penalty kick in the back of the goal. This marked Martin's first goal of the season and secured the 5-1 victory for the Colonials. 

When asked about the season and what this team has meant to him, Senior Colin Gorini explained, "It's been an honor going through this program with the other eight seniors. All of us take pride in what we've accomplished on & off the field. Two years ago we had 13 players, now we're a family of 31. The team has an incredibly bright future ahead of them. I cannot wait to see them succeed."
