Top Highlight of the Season (courtesy of our team leaders):

The top highlight of our season was definitely hosting our first ever home tournament. Not only was it a great experience to be able to play in our own gym with our friends and family cheering us on, but we also won the tournament. We worked hard all fall semester and to see our hard work pay off was the perfect way to end the season. Though we had our season cut short, we are proud of everything we were able to do in a short time, and can't wait to get back into the gym in the fall! The team is also extremely proud of Macey Hanes for winning the Club Sports Scholar Athlete of the Year!

Congratulations to Macey Hanes, a senior member of our club volleyball team for winning the 2019-2020 female club sport scholar athlete of the year. A Dubois, PA native, Macey joined the team as a sophomore and earned her position as the team's starting Libero, leading the team in digs while proving herself as a very reliable back row player. Her teammates describe her as an extremely consistent server, who is always smiling and having fun. Her positivity was contagious and no matter how frustrated she gets she is always able to bounce back and not let it get the best of her. She especially encourages the younger players and helps them when needed. Macey is an engineering major with a dual focus in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering. She maintains a 3.93 GPA and has made her team and our department proud of her achievements!
