Moon, PA- Women's Volleyball wins their first tournament of the season at home in the North Athletic Complex. It was the first volleyball tournament the Club Volleyball team had ever hosted, and it was the first ever in the North Athletic Complex. The field had seven teams in it, and RMU did not lose a series on their way to winning the event. All tournament they only dropped one game, which was in the semi finals to Slippery Rock B. 

RMU was placed in a pool with Slippery Rock B, IUP B, and Gannon A. They started off against, IUP B, picking up a 2-0 victory with scores of 25-18 and 25-23. Gannon A was next for the Colonials, and Robert Morris took care of business again. They won that set with scores of  25-11 and 25-15. In the last game of pool play, RMU dispatched of Slippery Rock B with a 25-14 and 25-15 victory to go 3-0 in pool play.

The team finished 3-0 in their pool, and ended up being the top seed of bracket play. This allowed them to have a first round bye while the other 6 team played in the quarterfinals. RMU had to face Slippery Rock B in a rematch in the semi-finals. While this result was closer, the Colonials remained victorious in the best of 3. RMU took the first game 25-23, but dropped Game 2 19-25. In the decisive third game Robert Morris held on for a 15-13 win. They advanced to the finals to play Slippery Rock A.

Both teams decided to only play one game since it had already been a long day. In the finals, the Colonials dug in and won 25-22! It was a huge win for the Colonials as they scored their first tournament win of the season.
