Men's Rugby 2019-20 Season Recap

Domers Eye a Run to Nationals in 2020-2021

While it didn't end in a repeat Three Rivers Rugby Conference Championship, the "Domers" had an incredibly strong 2019-2020 season. They made their 7th straight Conference Finals appearance, and finished the year 7-2 and 17th in the national NSCRO rankings.

Season Recap

The Domers had another successful fall campaign. They finished the year 7-2 while placing second in the Three Rivers Conference Championship. The Domers were led by their Captains Sophomore Ryan Lowden-Stoole and Junior Rory Hegarty. When the Colonials won this season, they made a statement. In the seven regular season games they appeared in this season, the Domers put up 367 points and only allowed 74.

While the Domers fell short of their championship aspirations, they are returning 14 starters going into the 2020 season. They will miss seniors Brendon Boyd, Mathew Kenny, John Jerich, and Sean Lawrence. The Domers feel great about the talent they have around them heading into next season. They will be looking for their 8th straight 3RRC Conference Championship appearance in the fall.
