Moon, PA- RMU's Tier II Roller Hockey (now 3-4-1) took on Penn State (now 0-8-0) and won handily 10-6 in their final game for the semester. The Colonials jumped out to the early 3-0 lead, but PSU was not going away quickly. They fired back with 2 quick goals of their own to make it a 3-2 game.

RMU picked it up later in the first, and from there till the start of the third they were relentless in their offensive attack. By early in the third period the Colonials led 10-3 and began to get lazy defensively. They allowed a few breakaways and 2 on 1's but the game was out of reach by that point. 

The Colonials finish just under .500 on the front half of the season, and will resume play once the spring semester kicks off. Here was the goal scoring breakdown from last night's game:

Additionally, it was senior defenseman Josh Zollars' final game with the club. He is enlisting into the military before the next semester begins. The team got him a signed RMU Hockey hat as well as a puck signed by the team.
