MEET OVERVIEW
College Station, PA-Â The Robert Morris University cross country teams traveled early Saturday morning to their first National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA) race at the Nittany Lion Invitational at Penn State University. The men's team had another excellent showing with sophomore Eric Wilkinson, freshman Kyle McCormick, and freshman Evan Basista setting new personal records. Sophomore Eric Wilkinson had a stand-out performance with an impressive 80th place finish and over two-minute personal record running his five miles in 31:31.70. Sophomore Tyler Slaney led the Colonial's team and was the top finisher for the men with a time of 27:45.70 and placed 16th out of 151 runners. The men's team competed against over 10+ NIRCA schools such as Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh. The men's team finished 10th out of 11 complete teams.Â

The Colonial's club cross country teams will return to action a bit closer to home on October 12th at Penn State Fayette for the Roaring Lions Invitational, which begins with the women's race at 11:00am followed by the men's race at 12:00pm.
