MEET OVERVIEW
The Robert Morris Running Club traveled early Saturday morning to the RMU Island Sports Center Track
for their first set of team time trials this semester. The events scheduled included the 1600-Meter Run,
200-Meter Dash, Mixed 4x200-Meter Relay, and 800-Meter Run. The team time trials welcomed five
returning athletes from the previous year and ten new athletes in their first semester with the club
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
The Men's 1600-Meter Run led to impressive times for Junior
Tyler Slaney and Freshman Josh Borovich.
In a competitive matchup,
Tyler Slaney crossed the finish line first in 4 minutes, 48.01 seconds to set a
new outdoor club record with only a narrow lead over Josh Borovich, who finished close behind in 4
minutes, 52.60 seconds. Senior
Jared Famiglietti rounded out the top three with his finishing time of 5
minutes, 21.23 seconds. In the Women's 1600-Meter Run, Senior Morgan Hamilton finished first with a
time of 7 minutes, 1.98 seconds while setting a new outdoor club record time for the event as well.
In the Men's 200-Meter Dash, Sophomore Abe Kozloff and Senior
Jay Olu-Wehuje battled for first and
second in a close race leaving Abe Kozloff with an outdoor club record time of 22.89 seconds while Jay
Olu-Wehuje claimed second with a time of 24.24 seconds. The Women's 200-Meter Dash featured
Freshman Meg Bortner and Kassidy Hayford finishing first and second respectively with an outdoor club
record time of 31.09 seconds for Bortner and 32.52 seconds for Hayford.
In the Mixed 4x200-Meter Relay, the quartet of Abe Kozloff, Clarence Fields, Meg Bortner, and Jay Olu-
Borovich in an outdoor club record time of 1 minute, 48.38 seconds. The other quartet of Famiglietti,
Slaney, Hayford, and Borovich finished their effort in 1 minute, 53.01 seconds.
In the Men's 800-Meter Run, Freshman Josh Borovich returned to the oval for an impressive victory and
outdoor club record performance. He completed his two laps and crossed the line in 2 minutes, 16
seconds. Seniors
Jared Famiglietti and Garrett Wiseley fought for second and third in the last stretch of
the race with Wiseley taking home second in a time of 2 minutes, 35.09 seconds. Famiglietti captured
third in the event and finished with a time of 2 minutes, 38.72 seconds. Congratulations to all our

UP NEXT
The Robert Morris Running Club will return to action on September 26th for their second team time trial
event at the RMU Island Sports Center Track. Events that will be scheduled for competition include the
100-Meter Dash, 800-Meter Run, 4x400-Meter Relay, and 3200-Meter Run.
