MEET OVERVIEW
The Robert Morris University club track and field team traveled Saturday morning to their next indoor meet in Alliance, Ohio to compete in the 2020 Mount Union Wuske Invitational. The open invitational featured a dozen NCAA teams from across Ohio and Pennsylvania. The men's team managed to set season bests, personal bests, and new club records.

Junior Jay Olu-Wehuje started the afternoon events with club-record performances in the long jump (5.65m) and triple jump (11.29m). Freshman Evan Basista also set a season best in the long jump with a leap of 3.87m. On the track, Senior Quinton Broadie ran 8.24 for the 60m. Junior Jared Famiglietti set a new club record in the 3000m with a time of 10:52.47, which was fast enough for 19th. Sophomore Tyler Slaney led the team again for the mile with a club-record time of 4:52.64 placing 17th out of 41 milers. Jared Famiglietti finished in 5:36.11 and Evan Basista in 6:31.53 with each setting season bests in the mile. Tyler Slaney also competed in the 800m to end the evening of events for the Colonials with a time of 2:16.45 placing 26th.

The Colonial's club track and field team will be traveling out towards Penn State University on February 15th to compete in the Happy Valley Invitational, which will include only NIRCA-member clubs.
