MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Robert Morris University is proud to announce that Cade Schimmer, a standout bowler from Plum High School, has committed to join the RMU Men's Bowling Team in Fall 2025. Cade brings an impressive resume and a strong competitive edge to the Colonials.
Cade helped lead his high school team to the 2025 Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Bowling League (WPIBL) Championship and boasts a high game of 300. His accolades include the 2023 WPIBL Singles Championship, multiple All-Regional Tournament Team selections, and recognition as East Section MVP in both 2023 and 2024. Averaging 211 in high school competition, Cade is expected to make an immediate impact on the lanes at RMU.

Men's Head Coach David Adams attended Cade's signing ceremony at Plum High School to celebrate his commitment. "Cade brings a wealth of talent to the team. He's a strong right-handed bowler who will be a force to be reckoned with," said Coach Adams.
John Michalenko, Director of the Bowling Program, added, "Cade's talents on the lanes will round out a strong men's roster going into next season's competition."
Cade will pursue a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at RMU. His parents, siblings, and teammates are all proud of his next step, and the entire club sports department is thrilled to welcome him to the university.
