John retired as Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students at Robert Morris University in December 2022 after 26 years of stellar service to the university community.  In his retirement, he continues to lead the RMU Men’s and Women’s Bowling Team, entering his 9th year as program director. Over the past 8 years, John has grown the bowling program from a seven-member men’s team to a program consisting of 40 men and women bowlers who compete in regional and national tournaments.  He also oversees a dedicated and talented coaching staff of six. During the 1990s, John coached the men’s bowling team at Carnegie Mellon University. John began his bowling career in youth leagues and high school in upstate New York and was a four-year varsity bowler at Western New England University in Springfield, MA.
