RMU Bowling Teams Shine at Muskie Mash Tournament

The RMU Bowling teams turned in outstanding performances at the Muskie Mash Bowling Tournament held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, continuing an impressive start to their season.

Men's Varsity – 1st Place

The Men's Varsity team captured first place, marking their second consecutive tournament win in the past three weeks — a strong statement to the rest of the collegiate bowling circuit.

All-Tournament Team Honors:

• Blayze Denny – 2nd Place All-Tournament Team – 211.7 average

• Clay Thomas – 3rd Place All-Tournament Team – 208.7 average

Men's Junior Varsity – 1st Place

The Men's JV team also brought home a first-place finish, their first championship win of the season.

• Cade Schimmer – 1st Place All-Tournament Team – 205.7 average
  
  

Women's Varsity – 6th Place

The Women's Varsity team continued to show strong progress, earning a solid 6th-place finish among a competitive field.

"The men's varsity back-to-back first-place wins in the past three weeks are a sign that they are to be reckoned with on the college circuit," said John Michalenko, Director of the Bowling Program. "Equally so, the women's varsity is achieving great results, and the men's junior varsity team captured their first-place finish of the season. The collegiate bowling scene is taking notice of RMU's talent, and there will be many more accomplishments as they continue their season's journey."
