Moon, PA- The Men's Club Soccer team is trending upward, highlighted by a 2-0 win over IUP on Saturday. It was the back end of a double header, but the fatigue wasn't a factor for RMU. Dan Pollack picked up his second goal of the day, albeit first of the game. Brandon Byers also scored in this one, his second of the season. Byers and Pollack are now the team leaders in goal scoring with two a piece through the first half of the season. 

The Colonials improve to a 2-1-1 record on the season as they pass the half way point. Both wins this season have been 2-0 clean sheets, a positive sign down the stretch for the Colonials if they can maintain the same strong defense they did in this one. 

This was RMU's final home game for the season. The Colonials will have three straight road matches to finish off the season. The first two opponents appear on the same day, when the team take on both Duquesne and Pitt in a back to back on September 28th. The first match is scheduled for 3:00pm, and the second is scheduled for 6:00pm.
