Moon, PA- RMU Esports has found themselves in another playoff opportunity this season, courtesy of the Rainbow 6 Siege team. While the Colonials' first year program was not crushing opponents, they did what they needed to do in order to qualify for the Collegiate R6 playoffs. The league had 212 teams involved from universities around the country.

RMU placed 122nd overall, and the top 128 fill the playoff bracket. RMU enters as heavy underdogs in their first round match-up. The #58 seed Colonials take on the #7 seed UMass Minutemen, on of the top school in the league this season. The team knows the odds are against them, but are optimistic they can make some noise here in the postseason and make a name for themselves in these playoffs. 

The match will take place Friday December 6th. Robert Morris' second Rainbow 6 team did not qualify for postseason play.
