The RMU Men's Club Bowling team is very excited to announce the transfer of Carson Reid, a sophomore from Solon, Iowa.
Reid, a Management and Finance major, is transferring from Judson University in Elgin, IL. He brings a year of college bowling experience, where he served as the team's anchor, averaging 192 in collegiate tournaments this past season.
Individually, Carson has been bowling for about six years, with a variety of strong performances at top tournaments around the country. In the prestigious Jr. Gold National Championships, Carson made it to the final advancers round in both 2024 and 2025, while also shooting a perfect 300 game in the first advancers round in 2025.
Most recently, he competed in the U22 Masters event, making the match play portion of the event, finishing 13th-16th. He also made the cashers round of the Ebonite Winter Classic in 2023, 2024, and 2025, along with a 3rd-place finish at the Midwest Youth Main Event and a 6th-place finish at SYC Indy.
"I am looking forward to seeing him grow," says coach Ramon Estrada, "He will be a key piece in helping RMU continue to be a better and better program."
The entire Club Sports department is thrilled to welcome Carson to the university and looks forward to seeing him continue to shine as a Colonial.
