The Robert Morris University Men's Club Bowling Team is excited to announce that former Junior Varsity Coach Ramon Estrada has been named the team's new Varsity Head Coach.
Ramon, the owner and operator of RamFlex Pro Shop, brings an extensive and impressive bowling background to his new role. Growing up in the San Diego, California area, Estrada competed at a high level on the youth circuit as a member of the San Diego Jr. All-Star team. He also captured first place at the Las Vegas Jr. Open, along with victories at the Reno Jr. Team Challenge in 1999 and the Brunswick Team Challenge in 2001, before eventually becoming a member of the Professional Bowlers Association.
Since joining RMU as the Men's JV coach in 2022, Ramon has taken pride in developing and elevating his athletes, with the results speaking for themselves. Under his leadership, the team finished second in the Ohio Bowling Conference in each of the last two seasons and captured two tournament victories during the most recent season.
Now stepping into the Varsity Head Coach role, Ramon will lead a talented group of bowlers and looks to continue the success he has built during his time with RMU.
The RMU Men's Club Bowling Team is excited to welcome Ramon into his new position and looks forward to seeing his continued impact on the team both on and off the lanes. Best of luck, Ramon!
