RMU ACHA D4 Falls to WVU, 6–1
RMU Island Sports Center Clearview Arena, Moon Township, PA
The RMU ACHA Division IV hockey team battled throughout the night but ultimately fell 6-1 to West Virginia in conference action. RMU opened the game with #35 Nathan MacBride between the pipes, joined by #4 Zachary Connelly, #16 Xander Chorey, #2 Connor Borsh, #14 Tullio DiDomenico, and #24 Charlie Natress in the starting lineup.
First Period
WVU struck first at 9:23 of the opening frame to take an early 1-0 lead.
Second Period
The Mountaineers extended their advantage with goals at 15:49 and 13:10. RMU answered back at 2:25 when #25 Julian Drass found the back of the net, cutting the deficit to 3-1. The goal was assisted by #26 Joseph Pulleo and #27 Carter Bossong.
Third Period
WVU added three more goals in the final period at 19:41, 18:43, and 2:44, pulling away to secure the 6-1 victory.

WVU 6, RMU 1
Despite the result, RMU showed perseverance and continued to compete through all three periods as the team looks ahead to its next matchup.
