Historic Club Sports Moments
First CHE Championship
The RMU Men's D4 Club Hockey team won its first ever CHE (College Hockey East) Championship in 2023, defeating CalU in dramatic fashion with an overtime winner. The team went on to win the CHE championship again in 2024.
First Playoff Appearance – Women's ACHA D2 Hockey
The women's club hockey team (ACHA D2) made the first playoff appearance in program history in the 2024-25 season.
Historic Performance — Club Baseball
RMU's Club Baseball team had its best season ever in 2025, making a run to the NCBA Division III World Series Championship Game (runner-up), after winning their district playoff title. That's the highest finish in program history.
Women's Club Bowling – First National Championship Appearance
The Women's Club Bowling team made their first ever national championship appearance, moving up significantly in national ranking, marking a milestone in their program's history.
Men's Club Bowling — Longstanding Consistency
The Men's Club Bowling team achieved their seventh consecutive national qualification at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships, with their best finish in over 20 years.
Roller Hockey — Nationals Qualification Streak
RMU Roller Hockey qualified for the NCRHA National Championships for the fourth straight season, and for the ninth time in program history.
Honors & Recognition - Men's Rugby
The Men's Rugby Team team has made five National Playoff appearances, 14 local playoff appearances, achieved three Elite-Eight finishes at Nationals, and earned a 2nd place finish at the Three Rivers Conference 7's Championship.since its establishment in 2002.
Ongoing Success - Esports
RMU Esports continues to dominate on the national stage as one of the largest and most successful collegiate esports program in Western Pennsylvania.They have secured 3 National Championships, 17 Conference Titles and 2 LAN Tournament Victories
