Robert Morris' final round robin game featured a match against Cal Poly. Roman Kraemer and Gio Palombo started the scoring early both within the first minute of the game to make it 2-0. Cal Poly's Derek Le scored at the 4 minute mark to cut the lead. Kraemer and the Colonials would strike two more times in response to that to make it 4-1. 

EJ Gabriel buried one home with under a minute left to get one more for the Mustangs before the end of period one. Jared McMillan opened the scoring in period 2 to close the gap. Shane Yobbi netted home his first of the tournament to expand the Colonials lead. Sam Blackwell struck with under two minutes for Cal Poly to end period two 5-4 Colonials.

 Nathan Kratzoff put one home to tie things up early in period three but the Colonials and Gio Palombo battled back to regain the lead. Kraemer put the empty netter home for his 4th of the game and secured the 7-5 victory for the Colonials! The Colonials will take on the Michigan State Spartans in the first playoff game tomorrow night at 7:15.
