RMU students from the turn of the century into the early 2010's would be very familiar with the words "Chalk Talk." The newsletter was once a fixture on campus as students would rush to the Nicholson Center to the PNC Colonial Cafe to obtain their copy each week. The document served as a schedule for intramural events and a recap of the weeks scores and games in intramural leagues. As technology changed and schedules became electronic, the demand for Chalk Talk changed. The campus recreation department used a combination of social media, software programs, and dedicated websites to promote and communicate updates in intramural and club sports. This fall we have decided to bring back the once popular platform in the form of a weekly YouTube Recap Show via the Campus Rec YouTube Channel. The host of the show will be Alexander Gagnon, our Club Sports Information Director. He will be taking video clips obtained from our intramural staff and recapping weekly performances across intramural and eventually club sports contests. 

Gagnon is a senior sport management major who lists this project among his most enjoyable while working for the Campus Recreation Department. Teams are encouraged to share potential stories or video ideas to Alex at his email address: campusrec01@rmu.edu.
