The Campus Recreation department is housed in the state of the art 45,000 square foot Student Recreation and Fitness Center, opened in the fall of 2017. The facility serves as a home for indoor club sports, intramural sports, group exercise, and physical wellness programming. The building is part of a larger capital campaign that included the state of the art UPMC Events Center, which serves as the home to RMU's men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams.
