Esports Center

Esports Lab

Robert Morris University designed the esports space on the second floor of its Student Recreation and Fitness Center for the first collegiate-level gaming program in southwestern Pennsylvania. The program saw tremendous growth and is currently located on the 3rd floor of the Nicholson building below the student mail room. Robert Morris's Esports teams compete in games such as "Rocket League," "League of Legends," "Overwatch" and "Hearthstone" as one of nearly 180 programs across the U.S. to gain membership in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE).

Directed by new program head Travis Bolner, the esports team builds on RMU's academic strengths in media arts, sport management, and software engineering among other related programs. The team began play in the NACE in the fall of 2019.
